Very Important Physician (V.I.P.) Program
BACMT is proud to introduce our Very Important Physician (V.I.P.) Program in which clinicians from a variety of fields can be a part of. This Stark Compliant partnership welcomes physicians from all fields, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, chiropractors, dentists, and others to earn additional revenues while helping patients that will not seek domestic care because of costs constraints that may limit them from getting the help that they need.
How many physicians have a patient that needs care, but can’t afford it due to policy exclusions, extreme deductibles, high co-insurances, or lack of insurance altogether? Our guess is quite a few. By working with BACMT's international facilities that are not under federal anti-kickback Stark legislation, V.I.P.s can help their patients receive the care they need at a value proposition of 70% less on average, while being compensated for post and pre-operative care, co-management of patients and the necessary continuity of care.
By jointly managing the patients care before and after their international medical or dental procedure, BACMT will compensate V.I.P.s for their time and effort. V.I.P.s also maintain their normal billings for in-house visits during the process. In a time when the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) is taking normal streams of revenue out of physicians pockets, while Medicare and Medicaid cuts continue, and overall profitability is on the decline, BACMT's V.I.P. Program can offset these losses and help physicians' patients simultaneously.
All of our hospitals and surgical centers are either Joint Commission International accredited or meet the rigorous standard of the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities. V.I.P.'s patients are in good hands with top level foreign physicians, many of whom are U.S. Board Certified, and whose credentials will be shared with V.I.P.s and their patients. SKYPE calls may be set up during consultations, so the partnership between physicians will maximize the patient experience. All of our providers have a strong presence with a bilingual staff and provide a nurse to patient ratio of 1:4.
In Vitro Fertilization Program
The required time for a full IVF cycle for couples with self-donated eggs and sperm at a BACMT clinic is 21 days. However with the help of our V.I.P.s, most of whom are OB/GYN or Family Practice physicians, participating in the stimulation phase of treatment, BACMT can often reduce the time in Panama to 11 days. The costs associated with a BACMT clinic is 50% less than in the USA on average. With the V.I.P.s help in the diagnostic testing, not only will the V.I.P.s increase their revenues, but help their patient grow their families without the high and unreasonable costs that are found in the USA. Critical outcome data can be shared by the clinic’s director so that the V.I.P.s know the success rates comparable to USA facilities.
